J2 / P2 Plumbers

Barlow Water Systems is hiring licensed P2 or J2 plumbers.

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Technician / Well Pump Installer to join our team. You will install, maintain, and operate water treatment systems and well pumps, helping ensure clean, safe water for homes and businesses. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and is dependable. Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds or more and work overtime as needed.

Duties Include:

• Operate, install, repair, and maintain water treatment equipment and well pump systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of treatment facilities and equipment.
• Collect water samples for laboratory analysis.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate records of treatment processes and collected data.
• Perform preventive maintenance on treatment systems.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize treatment processes.

Requirements:

• Licensed P2 or J2 plumber.
• Mechanical knowledge of water treatment equipment and well pumps, including their operation and maintenance.
• Ability to operate equipment such as work trucks.
• Familiarity with logic controllers used in water treatment systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
• Physical stamina to lift 50 pounds or more, including bags of salt, equipment, and daily supplies, and to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and well pump installation is required.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.
